In a recent article, Democratic Vice Presidential presumtive nominee Joe Biden agreed to
divest himself of campaign contributions from Tim Balducci, Steve Patterson, Dickie Scruggs and Zack Scruggs. Specifically, Biden gave back $7500.
However, a quick look at
Joe Biden's donors as listed on Huffington Post shows that Biden may not have divested himself of enough money to get rid of the taint. There certainly seems to be a disproportionate number of contributions from the greater Ripley, Booneville, New Albany area. There were several contributions from Patterson Balducci attorneys that were not divested as well as contributions from family members that were not divested.
