State divorce laws creep toward joining 20th century

Both the Senate and House now have bills with language aimed at allowing an abused spouse to more easily prove such abuse and encouraging judges to more promptly grant divorces in cases of abuse. The state is creeping close to joining the 20th century with its divorce laws.
