Attorney general hopes 'cooler heads' win in legislature
Attorney General Jim Hood says he hopes Bryant will call a session just for the funding bills. Two big priorities in the legislature, an education funding rewrite and funding to fix Mississippi's roads, did not happen during the regular session.
Democrat Hood says the Republican-led legislature has been leading for political reasons rather than for the good of the state and should reevaluate its priorities.
