FBI issues warrant on Scruggs' office

Freelance journalist Bryan Doyle visited the office Tuesday afternoon at the Sun Herald's request. The second-floor entrance to the Scruggs Law Firm was blocked by a FBI agent who asked each visitor if he or she were employed at the firm. When Doyle said he did not work there, he was denied entrance.

"It appeared they were only allowing employees into the building," Doyle said.

Hokey Smokes, Bullwinkle!

I know that the Feds don’t raid your office with search warrants unless they are pretty damn serious.

Will they be showing up at the AG’s office anytime soon?

Pickering, Orgeron, Lott, Bowers, and now Scruggs! It’s news-junkie nirvana!

The C-L site is still dark on this breaking story. The uber-journalists at JFP haven’t picked up on it. Go, Sun-Herald. Nothing like calling someone to just go over to the office to see what’s happening. Journalism the old-fashioned way.
