Bryant Says He'll Sign DUI Ignition Bill

Gov. Phil Bryant's spokesman says the governor will sign a bill aimed at strengthening laws against drunken driving.

A national group that says it represents 80 Mississippi restaurants had urged Bryant to veto House Bill 481.

The American Beverage Institute, based in Washington, D.C., said Monday that if the bill becomes law, it would be expensive to enforce and create too much work for Mississippi probation officers.
