It’s weird to see this so openly. Simply breaking it down to a racial issue because it’s Mississippi.
When THEY reported that Childers campaigned as a “down-the-line conservative” which would contrast the Obama endorsement, it seems a light bulb would go off that maybe someone was trying to point out the hypocrisy of being a Democrat campaigning as a Republican and the fact that Obama is black had nothing to do with pointing that out.
Hypocrisy seems to be readily accepted everyday in politics though.
