What's going on with Tim Balducci?

Timothy Balducci, the Scruggs scandal co-defendant who turned informant, is still in the Monroe County jail, according to Monroe County Jail Administrator Danny Starks.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons Web Site said Monday Balducci was not in Bureau of Prisons custody. Starks said he had no idea where that information came from.

Since March 25, he was serving his 24-month prison time in a federal facility in Estill, S.C., then was moved to the Monroe County Jail while U.S. prosecutors prepared for a possible trial against then-Hinds Circuit Judge Bobby DeLaughter.

I’m not a big fan of Patsy Brumfield but this was her scoop, not slabbed’s.  It was on her blog this morning

She posted an update--she talked to Monroe County Jail Administrator and confirmed Balducci is still in Monroe County jail.
