One thing for sure, didn’t much come from Scruggs.

Look at the secretary of state’s website.  There you’ll find all campaign contributions.  Look it up and let us all know.  Your report is due by 2.p.m.

I thought you sounded good on Gallo this morning.  I wish we all could have your smart straightforwardness, but also show tact as you did on the air.  Hey you even got me up at 6:30 to listen, which was a good feat.

I’m not the one with the website Alan.  My statement was purely rhetorical.  I simply think that it’s not just the Democrats who funnel money to their buddies.  It’s all special interest group, be it the Chamber of Commerce or trial attorneys.  Don’t denigrate someone just because they pose a question. I don’t care at all for Hood or Scruggs, but I don’t care for most politicians either.

Yes, I vote (always have).  Voted for Haley in fact the first time.

What happened the 2nd time..........was he just doing too good of a job after Katrina?

Nerboo, I haven’t looked, but I’d venture to guess that Haley did receive (directly and indirectly) some t’bacco moneys.  I doubt they were 20% of his 2007 election spend or even anywhere close to that.  I could be wrong, but I’d bet against it.  And even if they were, I doubt you could find the timing on those contributions as financially or legally as suspect as those between Scruggs and Hood. 

Feel free to go get the data and prove me wrong, but that’s not my focus right now.

Wow............sounds interesting. Wonder what B I L L Y will say concerning this issue. I imagine Holland will blow some fluff in his ear and that will be that. Billy ain’t steady enough to take on JT/Dave without some backup and he don’t have the support he once had. I’d love to be there.
