Tonight, Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith and Mike Espy will participate in a debate hosted by Mississippi Farm Bureau. This is the first time the Senate candidates have debated and it is exactly one week from the runoff election.

What you need to know: 

The debate will air from 7 to 8 p.m. November 20. There will be one moderator, Maggie Wade of WLBT and three panelists to ask questions: Geoff Pender, Clarion Ledger; Caleb Bedillion, Northeast Daily Journal; Courtney Ann Jackson, WLBT.

Y’all Politics will be live tweeting the debate and publishing an analysis on our website after the debate is over.
