In a tweet Tuesday night, Democrat U.S. Senate candidates Mike Espy announced that his campaign was postponing all public events and fundraisers for at least three weeks, adding “at which point we will reevaluate based on recommendations from public health officials.”
Espy is challenging incumbent Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith in the General Election.
We must #FlattenTheCurve to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Our staff is working remote and we have postponed all public events & fundraisers for at least the next three weeks, at which point we will reevaluate based on recommendations from public health officials.
