The Mississippi State Department of Health has released data on nursing home COVID-19 cases and where outbreaks are located.

As of Thursday June 4, there were 126 long term care facility outbreaks across the state. One or more cases of a worker or resident of one of these facilities would classify as an outbreak.

Currently there are a reported 1,993 cases of the Coronavirus within these facilities and there have been 406 deaths out of the states total 782 deaths.

At this time facilities with over 25 (residential) cases include: Adams County Nursing Center, Attala County Nursing Center, Mississippi State Veterans Home Kosciusko, Claiborne County Senior Care, Bedford Care Center of Hattiesburg, Woodlands Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Lexington Manor Senior Care, Holmes County LTC Center – Durant Healthcare, The Meadows, Singing River Health & Rehabilitation Center, Care Center of Laurel, Comfort Care Nursing Center, Mississippi Care Center of Dekalb, North Mississippi Regional Center Oxford, Diversicare of Meridian, The Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Tupelo Nursing and rehabilitation Center, Crystal Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Golden Age Nursing Home, Diversicare of Brookhaven, Canton Manor, Diversicare of Amory, Choctaw Resential Center,  Rolling Hills Development Center, Picayune Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Mississippi Care Center of Raleigh, Heritage House Nursing Center, Yalobusha County Nursing Home,
