JACKSON, MS (WLBT) – Voters will cast ballots on some controversial issues this November.
On the first day of the new legislative session Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann delivered three initiatives to the Clerk of the House and Secretary of the Senate.
Citizens gathered the signatures required to place voter identification, definition of a person and eminent domain on the ballot.
More than 300,000 signatures were collected for all three measures.
Term limits have been placed on the ballots twice but did not receive enough votes for passage.
