GOVERNOR HALEY BARBOUR ORDERS FLAGS TO FLY AT HALF STAFF IN HONOR OF MISSISSIPPI SENATOR
JACKSON — Gov. Haley Barbour today ordered State Flags at all state buildings to be flown at half staff in remembrance of long-time Mississippi public servant, State Senator Jack Gordon.
“The State of Mississippi mourns the loss of Jack Gordon,” Gov. Barbour said. “In honor of his life and service to our State, I am directing the Department of Finance and Administration to lower the flags at all state facilities to half staff.”
The flags will be flown at half staff Tuesday, May 10, in memory of Senator Gordon.
