Hewes campaigns here

Saying he would bring the core values of Mississippians and experience to the lieutenant governor’s office, Republican Hewes spoke to a small crowd of supporters on the steps of the Old City Hall on Goodyear Boulevard around 4 p.m.

Besides just average citizens and businessmen, the crowd included his colleagues in the Senate Ezell Lee and Sid Albritton, and other elected officials, including Mayor Ed Pinero, Jr., newly named City Manager Jim Luke, and Sheriff David Allison.
