Central District Public Service Commissioner Cecil Brown is holding a town-hall meeting to help people understand how his agency can help residents.
The public service commission regulates public utilities and can help you out if you think you’re being overcharged for a service.
“We want people to come out. We’re also going to have the utility companies there. We’re going to be talking about how our staff can help people with their utility services, with their utility bills, but in addition to that if they’ve got specific problems or questions that they have and want a direct answer from a utility company, including the Jackson water folks they’re going to be out at Candlestick Park tonight,” says Commissioner Brown.
