Right now, we also have the only female agriculture commissioner in the country who was elected, not appointed.

And judging by the remarks of Cindy Hyde-Smith, Treasurer Lynn Fitch, and other female officials, like state Rep. Alyce Clarke, Mississippi’s state government won’t be a boys’ club forever.
