Republican Dave Dennis Reports Half-a-Million Dollars Cash-on-Hand
GOP Businessman’s campaign on target to spread message of private sector leadership

The Dave Dennis for Governor campaign filed its 2010 campaign finance report today showing a total raised of nearly $800,000 in a fifteen-month period, with more than half-a-million dollars cash-on-hand.

“Hundreds of Mississippians have joined our team and believe Mississippi’s next CEO should have private sector leadership and job creation experience,” Dennis said. “We’ve raised the money necessary to kick-off this campaign in earnest, and everywhere we go we’re seeing more traction and more appetite for our message of job creation, better schools and government reform.”

Dennis Campaign manager Brian Perry noted this report puts the campaign on track to meet internal goals, “We’ve already paid for much of our infrastructure and we’re pleased with the fundraisers we have lined up in coming weeks, which will keep us on track to hit our campaign targets. We were careful not to interfere with fundraising efforts for our 2010 Republican candidates, and we are only now tapping significant resources outside the Coast. All projections show we’ll have the funds necessary to deliver our message effectively to the voters, and it is the winning message.”

• 2010 Raised: $431,198.31
