D’Iberville City Manager to temporarily serve Palazzo after 2 resignations

Two of freshman U.S. Rep. Steven Palazzo’s top staffers have abruptly left his Washington, D.C., office after less than three months on the job.

The D’Iberville City Council in a special meeting Wednesday granted City Manager Michael Janus a leave of absence to fill one of the spots temporarily.

Erskine Wells, Palazzo’s chief of staff, and Jonathan Samford, his press secretary, both left sometime this week “to pursue other interests” according to Palazzo’s office.
