November 10th, 2015Mississippi trial lawyer Dickie Scruggs’ battle against Big Tobacco was dramatized in the movie “The Insider,” but then he found himself on the other side of the law when he served six years in prison on charges of attempted bribery: “I just got way too big for my britches,” he tells NBC News’ Tom Brokaw. But now he’s mounting a comeback through SecondChanceMS, a new nonprofit organization to help adults get high-school equivalency diplomas.
