Dombrowski, Mayes named to College Football Hall of Fame
Former New Orleans Saints teammates Jim Dombrowski and Rueben Mayes were named to the College Football Hall of Fame on Thursday.

They were among 15 former players and coaches elected to the shrine in South Bend, Ind.
Billy Cannon, LSU’s lone Heisman Trophy winner, was also chosen for the Hall of Fame, along with UCLA quarterback Troy Aikman, who went on to stardom with the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, and Lou Holtz, who coached at Notre Dame, Arkansas and South Carolina, among other places.
