Taylor Zarzour has been threatened. He’s been harassed. His family has received threats serious enough that he’s notified local authorities.
Why? Because, as a voter in the AP Top Twenty Five poll, Zarzour – the sports director of radio station WPTF in Raleigh, N.C. – didn’t put Auburn in his Top 25.
Was Zarzour’s vote stupid? In my opinion, yes. Indefensible? Most of us would say so, although Zarzour presented reasons for his vote that The Associated Press found acceptable and so have assured him they want him to continue to be one of 65 voters in this year’s college football poll.
