Mississippi’s first lady tours city of Pascagoula

What began as a speaking engagement evolved into a full tour as the state’s first lady, Debra Bryant, visited the Pascagoula-Gautier School District on Monday.

Bryant was slated to speak at the Grand Magnolia Ballroom for a Pascagoula Republican Women’s Club event, but then added a visit to the Aaron Jones Family Interactive Center, read to children at Central Elementary and also visited the La Pointe-Krebs Museum.

Bryant, the wife of Gov. Phil Bryant, began her day at the Aaron Jones Family Center, where she said the kids probably marvel at how high-tech and up-to-date the center is.
