Former Mississippi Gov. Ronnie Musgrove is starting a new business.
He and George Shelton, a former aide, are launching Company.Politics, which Shelton says aims to help businesses improve reputations and links to government.
Shelton helped Democrat Musgrove get elected in 1999, but left to become a consultant and then head of reputation management for Wal-Mart Stores. There, he helped lead efforts to improve Wal-Mart’s environmental footprint, as well as launch a $4 generic drug program.
