From one AU mom to another: Don’t let the boos get you down

It wasn’t pretty, but it was a victory.
Auburn fans had seen that movie in their sleep before they watched it again in person against Tennessee.
But the most Auburn-like thing that happened Saturday in Jordan-Hare Stadium – if Auburn really is the family it wants you to believe it is – came at halftime.
Debbie Cox went out of her way to find Becky Todd.
“I hope she knows how much I love her for sharing those few moments with me,” Todd said Thursday.
Cox is Brandon Cox’s mother. Becky’s son is the young man who has succeeded Cox as Auburn’s starting quarterback, Chris Todd.
That’s not the only bond they share. Not many parents know what it’s like to hear their child get booed in a stadium filled with 87,000 people.
