FSU football signs coach Jimbo Fisher to five-year deal worth $1.8 million a year

Florida State offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher signed his new contract Friday as the school’s next head coach.
As expected, his deal is for five years, beginning Jan. 5 — one day after retiring coach Bobby Bowden’s one-year contract expires — and will pay him $1.8 million annually, not including bonuses that could add as much as $675,000.
Fisher, 44, also can have an annual summer camp and is entitled to all profits.
