The Home Builders Association of Mississippi today announced its support of Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves in his bid for re-election.

Reeves successfully fought for lower taxes, less regulation and limited government spending in his first term as lieutenant governor.

“The pro-growth policies championed by Lt. Gov. Reeves have Mississippi’s communities on the move,” said HBAM President, Gene Buckles of Brookhaven. “Our members are small business owners that appreciate Lt. Gov. Reeves’ commitment to growing our economy, and we are proud to stand with him and endorse his re-election.”

A strong housing market needs a growing economy, and the policies supported by Lt. Gov. Reeves during his first term have encouraged entrepreneurs to invest capital and grow their businesses in local communities throughout Mississippi.

“I am honored to have the support of Mississippi’s home builders,” Lt. Gov. Reeves said. “They are literally responsible for building our economy from the ground up. I am committed to helping entrepreneurs like them expand their businesses and create jobs for Mississippians
