TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann is touring the Magnolia State to let folks know about the three constitutional amendments that’ll be on the November ballot.
He went over them Tuesday evening before a crowd at the Link Centre.
You may think it only takes getting more than 50 percent to pass such a change, but there’s one extra requirement.
“The Legislature requires that at least 40 percent of the people that vote in that election vote on the constitutional amendments,” says Hosemann.
