Chris Christie keeps Mitt Romney ad man, hires new one

Whether Schriefer was staying with Christie — whose ads he made for the 2009 gubernatorial race — was an open question, after tensions flared between Romneyworld and Christie’s team at the end of the 2012 presidential campaign.

The new ad man is Casey Phillips, co-founder of RedPrint Strategy, who will also work on the production team. Jamestown Associates, which has worked with Christie for years as well, is doing his ad buying, the sources said.
