Bowl Championship Series meetings begin today in Scottsdale, Ariz., and the talk is expected to dominate them.’s Dennis Dodd, who has been money with his reporting on these issues recently, poses this idea in his article Monday: “If the Big Ten goes to 16 teams, the SEC would at least be threatened in the marketplace. In such a case, would SEC commissioner Mike Slive’s first call be to Texas?”
