Jackson has no room for vacant inn; just level it!

The old La Quinta Inn in south Jackson is casting a pall, and folks are tired of looking at the eyesore, and even more fearful of the illegal activity it attracts. Its highly visible location blemishes Jackson, misrepresenting to motorists the city’s Best of the New South moniker.

Unlike the dilapidated King Edward Hotel tucked in the city’s downtown, the blighted La Quinta Inn sits at the highly traveled junction of I-20 and I-55. You most likely can’t avoid seeing it no matter which way you go.
