But did you know that the last six SEC opponents that Alabama faces this season will be coming off an open date? That’s right, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, LSU, Mississippi State and Auburn will each get an extra week of practice before playing the defending National Champions.
Alabama is expected to compete for the SEC and National Championships again. The Tide has a load of talent coming back and seem determined to be dominant for years to come.
But, I’m a little disappointed that the folks over in Tuscaloosa are doing a bit of whining about the bye-week deal, even to the point of asking the SEC to step in and do something about it.
That hasn’t happened. It won’t.
