Balancing act

Mississippi Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves said Wednesday he does not expect a $56.8 million mistake in the Fiscal Year 2017 state budget to have an effect on the state’s bond rating, although one rating service has already downgraded the state’s credit rating.

At the same time, Reeves detailed the state’s successes in economic development and his vision to even-greater success in a speech to DeSoto County business leaders.
