Mississippi Congressional candidate for District 1, Angela McGlowan, has made changes to her campaign team. McGlowan has brought in several campaign consultants to assist her in the last weeks of the primary race.
Mark A. Skoda, a business executive and Tea Party leader from Memphis will also be assisting as one of those consulting to the campaign and working with the existing team and outside resources to ramp up her efforts.
Candidate McGlowan stated, “We only entered this race in February and the reception and interest of the people has been wonderful. In making these adjustments, we can be better suited to working towards a win in this primary while at the same time freeing me up to meet with my constituents.”
McGlowan will be reporting her fundraising on April 15th and has been buoyed recently by interest in her campaign and her conservative views. A longtime Mississippi native and Fox News celebrity, McGlowan has taken a unique approach to her candidacy. She has also been a strong supporter of the Tea Party movement and the principles of fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government and free markets.
According to the results of a Tea Party phone straw poll, the favorite among the some 200 respondents was Angela McGlowan. According to this straw poll, she is supported by a whopping 70 percent of those polled.
