Hewes touts that he’s signed the front of a paycheck

On the campaign stump in announcing his bid for lieutenant governor, State Sen. Billy Hewes has stressed his business background and stated that he has signed the front of a paycheck. Here is a writeup of his stop in Olive Branch.

On Dave Dennis’ website, he says: “Governor Kirk Fordice believed you should sign the front side of a paycheck before running for office. He meant our state’s leaders should have the private sector experience of creating jobs and making payroll; and the private sector leadership to make tough decisions. I have that experience and leadership.”
