Minor sentencing delayed until January

The sentencing of former Biloxi attorney Paul Minor and two state court judges on charges of conspiracy and fraud has been delayed until Jan. 14, court records indicate.
Minor, former Circuit Court Judge John Whitfield and former Chancery Court Judge Wes Teel were scheduled for sentencing Nov. 17. While the two former judges are anxious to go to court, Minor requested additional time so his new attorneys could familiarize themselves with the case. U.S. District Court Judge Henry T. Wingate, who presided over the trial of the three Coast residents, agreed to move the sentencing date.
