Mississippi State coach Rick Stansbury says it’s a lot easier to talk about what doesn’t impress him about Kentucky than it is what does impress him because it would be a much shorter list.
“There are so many things you are impressed with,” said Stansbury, a Kentucky native. “I don’t know if there is a more talented team in the country than these guys. John (Calipari) has done a great job getting them to buy in and play together. Winning solves a lot of that, but to bring in as many new guys and have them mesh together and be so good is amazing.”
Mississippi State (18-7, 6-4 Southeastern Conference) will host No. 2 Kentucky tonight at what Stansbury admits is not the optimum time for his team, which beat Mississippi on Thursday and Auburn in overtime Saturday.
