1st District candidates answer DJ questions

TUPELO – The field in the race for Mississippi’s 1st District Congressional seat might be populous, but the stance the candidates take on tough issues are, in general, singular.

The candidates vying for the seat left vacant by the death of Congressman Alan Nunnelee answered five questions emailed to them by the Daily Journal.

The questions asked candidates to tell Mississippians in the 22 1st District counties what issues they would put on top of their agenda if elected and how they felt about the current Congress, which has historically low public approval ratings.
