BILOXI — Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen has hit the road to get the Bulldogs’ faithful back to Scott Field in the fall.
Mullen visited the Coast on Thursday after stops in Meridian and Hattiesburg on the Road Dawgs Tour, and it’s clear he expects the Bulldogs to show significant improvement in his second season in Starkville. State closed spring drills with a record crowd for its Maroon-White game on April 17 at Scott Field.
“We wanted to thank the fans for everything they’ve done,” Mullen said. “We shattered (home) attendance records last year and we worked hard for that.
