Muschamp hits lottery in deal to succeed Brown

Sorry, Clemson. Tough luck, Tennessee. Wish you the best, Washington.
Each of those college football programs has been looking for a head coach, and each of them will have to keep looking.
Will Muschamp is off the market.
The hottest young coordinator in the country has agreed to become the richest young apprentice head coach in the game.

After two weeks of hush-hush negotiations, Texas announced Tuesday that it will more than double Muschamp’s annual salary to $900,000, starting in January, and that Muschamp will succeed head coach Mack Brown when Brown decides to retire.
