Just about everything you need to know about Mississippi government can be found in one book — the Blue Book. Its full name is The Mississippi Official and Statistical Register.
A new, updated edition of the Blue Book was released Tuesday morning by Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann. The new edition is good through 2012.
The Blue Book contains information on officials in every public office, from lawmakers and judges to members of each advisory committee in the state.
Hosemann says unlike previous editions, the new Blue Book focuses on where Mississippi is today and where it’s going, rather than where it has been.
