NFL’s suspension of Michael Vick more about league’s image than justice

Michael Vick became a free man again last month and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently announced the former Falcons quarterback will soon be free to resume his NFL career. Where is yet to be determined, but he is talented enough that somebody will take a chance on him. When is up to Goodell.
After much hand-wringing and demands for contrition, the commish announced last week that Vick has been conditionally reinstated to the league. He can immediately take part in preseason practices, workouts and meetings and can play in two preseason games when and if he signs with a team.
