No. 8: Houston Nutt, Ole Miss coach
Having covered college sports in this state for most of the past decade, I’ve been fortunate to make friends on both sides of the proverbial Mississippi State/Ole Miss aisle. And I’ve heard this refrain more than once: “I don’t care if my (Bulldogs/Rebels) go 1-11, as long as that one is over (Ole Miss/Mississippi State.)” Throw a few more whiskey drinks into the equation and you can add some expletives to that sentence, if you so choose.
