Tiger Woods has been dealt another blow after GM Motors revealed it was ending an arrangement that allowed the troubled sports star free access to its vehicles.
Woods had previously had an endorsement deal with GM’s Buick brand that ended in 2008, but the world’s number one golfer retained an agreement that allowed him to keep several GM motors on loan.
A company spokesman yesterday confirmed that the deal was ended at the end of last year.
The 35-year-old announced he was taking an indefinite hiatus from golf to save his marriage to wife Elin following accusations of infidelity.
He has already lost lucrative deals with Tag Heuer, U.S. telecommunications giant AT&T and management firm Accenture.
