Mississippi Republican Party Announces New Executive Director
Mississippi Republican Party Chairman Arnie Hederman announced today that the party has hired a new Executive Director, Tim Saler.
“Tim’s addition to our team this year will strengthen our efforts to elect Republicans to all our statewide offices, build our party’s bench in local and county elections, grow our majority in the Senate, and make history by achieving a Republican majority and electing a Republican Speaker in the Mississippi House of Representatives,” Hederman said.
Prior to joining the Mississippi Republican Party, Saler served as North Carolina Victory Director at the Republican National Committee in 2010. In that election, Republicans in North Carolina took control of both chambers of the state legislature for the first time in 112 years, and Senator Richard Burr was re-elected by the largest margin of victory for any Republican U.S. Senate candidate in state history.
Previously, Saler organized the South Jersey field operation for Chris Christie’s successful campaign for Governor of New Jersey in 2009, and worked on several campaigns in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Saler got his start in politics in 2006 when he assisted with Republican ballot security efforts in the city of Philadelphia.
