OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt has had the pleasure of coaching in two previous AT&T Cotton Bowls, so he knows what to expect when the Rebels head to Dallas for their Jan. 2 matchup against Texas Tech.
But as far as his team, well, they have no clue. For the last four years, the Rebels have been home for the holidays, watching other teams participate in the postseason bowl games. That’s why Nutt is getting a kick out of watching how his team has been reacting since Sunday’s announcement that Ole Miss had been chosen to play in the 73rd annual Cotton Bowl.
