As he completed his 6 hours on the stand, he broke down in tears, telling counsel Christi McCoy that he meant the words of the oath he took as a young FBI agent in 1982.

Did you ever violate that oath, she asked him.

His voice breaking with emotion, tears streaming down his face, he said, “No, I never did.”
