Phil Savage replaces Ken Stabler as Alabama’s radio color analyst

Maybe this isn’t the most surprising move ever… We knew Alabama was looking for a new radio color analyst when it became clear Ken Stabler had no intention of returning to the spotlight.
And when we learned that Phil Savage would be given a trial run during A-Day, he quickly became the leader in the clubhouse. Now, it’s official.
Savage — the former Cleveland Brown general manager, former Crimson Tide graduate assistant, and current friend of Nick Saban — is the new radio color analyst for the Crimson Tide Sports Network.
