STARKVILLE — The College Baseball Hall of Fame is only four induction classes old, but it already has three Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Or at least it will after tonight, when former MSU coach Ron Polk and player Rafael Palmeiro are inducted at a ceremony in Lubbock, Texas.
“I’m honored, because I’ve been there before, I saw the operation, and this is pretty neat,” Polk, now a volunteer assistant at UAB, said. “Pretty neat operation. I’m excited about it and looking forward to being out there with Rafael.”
