OXFORD — Over the course of 56 games, Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco is used to the college baseball season having twists, turns and a healthy helping of adversity along the way.
But the season doesn’t actually begin until Friday, when the Rebels host Louisiana-Monroe at 3 p.m. at Oxford-University Stadium, and they’ve already had a season’s worth of issues.
“I don’t want to make it seem like an excuse – it’s just been unusual. It’s been different,” Bianco said. “Every week, somebody’s been sick or somebody’s been hurt. But every time, I think we’ve handled it very well.”
