Ole Miss receivers coach Ron Dickerson Jr. howled in delight, sprinting to the end zone and slapping Harris on the helmet.
About 10 minutes later, a pass came to Harris that went through his hands, hit him right on the numbers and then bounced harmlessly to the turf.
Dickerson Jr. covered his face with his hands.
“We’ve got to get better,” he said.
For all the talk of the three-man quarterback battle here at Ole Miss preseason camp, the more important question might be this: Who is going to catch the passes once the ball is thrown from one of those quarterbacks?
